I just wanted to take a second to say how amazing this company is. I had questions about fluid levels for my vehicle and didn’t know what was really necessary. They answered all my questions over the phone and even told me to swing by so they could check to be sure. Ended up topping off my fluid levels for free. Amazing service!

We started using Autoworks when our previous shop closed down and we had good experiences the first few times, though their rates are not cheap. (Not saying they are higher, but certainly not discounted, especially on parts). Unfortunately, the last two times we have taken my older car (a 2007) to Autoworks, something else has failed soon after. The car is older, so maybe not their fault, but they replaced a door latch, shortly afterwards the window stopped rolling up all the way (the window register stopped working right, in the same door they disassembled.) When they fixed the Window the trunk latch stopped working. (That seems oddly unrelated, but that it happened on the same day and isn't the first time, seems like a bit of a coincidence.) And every time they touch the car they want a diagnostic fee of ~$200, on top of the repair. When I took it in for the Window problem they wanted to charge a $220 diagnostic fee, but when I asked them if all they did was try the window button they said they would discount the fee. So, sounded like they wanted to charge me $220 to roll the window up and down, and when I asked the service writer for more details, I only got a vague answer and a lecture about how he did me a favor against store policy, but he never gave me an adequate explanation. When I called him about the trunk (thinking maybe it was a fuse or something from them disconnecting the battery or something), they said if they looked at it, it would be another $200 diagnostic fee unless they agreed it was related. This experience really undermined the trust they had built up so I wasn't willing to agree to pay the diagnostic in the blind. As a result, I have decided to look elsewhere.

I’ve taken my cars here for many years. They are trustworthy and detailed. They provide answers to all of my questions about the care my car needs and even help me prioritize what’s most important.

We took our car to this shop a few days ago to fix the check engine light and a loud engine noise. They diagnosed the issue and informed us about the problem. However, when we got the car back after a couple of days, the check engine light was still on, and the noise remained. We were then told that the issue couldn't be fixed. Despite this, we were charged twice for diagnostics for different reasons. The very next day, the car completely broke down in the middle of the road. Extremely dissatisfied with the service—we ended up paying $1,000 for a repair that didn’t even last a single day.

We were very clear that your engine was experiencing imminent catastrophic failure, and the elective repair you mentioned would not prevent this. We shared photos with you and discussed all the metal shavings we found inside the engine, indicating extensive internal damage and an impending failure. You asked how long it would last, we told you "You are on borrowed time." We advised that a full engine replacement was the only viable solution to restore your vehicle's functionality. We recognize that this situation is difficult. We strive to provide honest and accurate information, even when the news is challenging.

The service and staff are truly wonderful. Your prices are much higher than I pay on the east coast, and I was surprised to hear you do not do tire work. But I would recommend you to anyone on this side of the country. Keep up the good work ! <<< Phil D...

Excellent service! I have an older model vehicle, and it's becoming more & more difficult to find a place to take it for service. AutoWorks of Issaquah has done a fantastic job - everything from routine maintenance to complicated repairs. They also do a great job of communicating. From their initial estimate, and then all through the repair process, they take the time to explain what they found, and then provide recommendations for how to proceed. The remain cordial & professional throughout the entire process, and take pride in their workmanship. I feel fortunate to have found such a great service shop, and my trusty old car likes them too!

Car went dead at Christmas. It was serviced right after the holiday and fixed to our satisfaction. The personnel were extremely helpful, taking us to the nearest rental office for a temporary replacement. Was given an estimate for suggested future repairs to keep the car running as long as possible.
